That’s right… I was a little disappointed with the first video I took on my bike due to the GoPro’s rolling shutter but this video turned out fine.

It is indeed good old NZ chocolate self saucing pudding. However, due to the huge quantities of sugar involved I thought it only fair to rename it in an attempt to warn any unsuspecting German. I also seem to have picked an extra sweet recipe when I made it the first time here so it has developed a bit of a reputation.

I post them with the date of the event but usually I write the article after the event and then cheat and back-date it to the day of the event. I guess it does nasty things to my RSS feed… Facebook gets a little confused sometimes when pulling my feed.

That is very pretty – I think I spotted the Narnia lamppost in that second video. Though it did seem rather sunny and filled with blue sky. Something that I didn’t think happened in Narnia, or indeed Norway, for that matter.

This tradition exists in Austria, too – but it’s on the 5th.
It’s called Krampus, the monster guys are called Perchten (and I don’t think they really beat someone?).
Best of all: you also get chocolate devils, not just chocolate santas in the supermarket
