Ari, Johannes, and I drove into Bregenzerwald with the intention of going climbing. However, once we got to Schepfnau we realised that it wasn\u2019t summer anymore and the sun was nowhere to be seen. Instead we did the Abendrot Klettersteig. It was a toasty zero degrees or somewhere around that prompting Johannes to complain about his cold fingers. Immer complainen. After the klettersteig we drove to the nearby climbing area and did three easy routes in the cold. It really was cold. Quite cold. Definitely quite very cold.  By the time we finished it was getting dark. We drove back to Lindau and in the evening met up at my flat with Pedro and Bala and made huge amounts of sushi that we devoured. One might call it industrial sushi making.<\/p>\n\n\n

Ari, Johannes and I did the Abendrot Klettersteig near Schepfnau in the Bregenzerwald.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The klettersteig has two variations. The easiest is D and the harder one has D\/E parts and is otherwise nearly entirely D. You can see in the picture it’s steep and sustained.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The routes are short going straight up a cliff face.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

After the klettersteig we did some very easy climbing routes. Actually this had been the main goal but as it was so cold we’d opted for the klettersteig.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

In the evening we made sushi at my flat in industrial style.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
