We drove back up into the hills from Oetz. It was sunny again and it felt very much like spring. We parked and headed up a very churned up track into the hills. Turing right we aimed towards Zw\u00f6lferk\u00f6pfl. Johannes D and Rachel went ahead as Rachel needed to get back to the train station early. Johannes R headed off his way and I went off mine. Craig and I mostly stuck together. The snow seemed very slushy and after some time I found myself on a very steep avalanche prone slope with Craig. We continued up a little but little cracks in the snow appeared. Bailing we met Johannes R who had made a navigational blunder and had headed around the back of the mountain where it was too steep to ascend.<\/p>\n
The three of us headed up on flatter slopes, that steepened again towards the end to the summit. A short break in the spring weather and we skied back down.<\/p>\n
I\u2019m sure I already wrote about this but I think I lost the draft\u2026 It\u2019s now a year later.<\/p>\n
And now it’s two years later! How time flies.<\/p>\n
