It was a nippy 8 degrees as we started on a gray day. I tried a different tactic than normal and ran along behind Julian for a few km at the start before finding a slower pace which I held for the rest of the race. I was reasonably happy with my legs. Unfortunately the organisers ripped us off by approx. 3 km (it was supposed to be a half marathon) and so it makes it difficult to compare times.
