Leonie and I scampered up to Gertrude Saddle from just below the Homer tunnel. It was a great little walk and we had an awesome view from the saddle down to Milford Sound. It would be nice to explore the hills around the saddle a bit sometime\u2026<\/p>\n

Above left: Mmm green mossy rocks on the walk up the valley. Above right: Not long after the real climb began there was a nice waterfall with this rock pool at the bottom.<\/p>\n
