The tour book promised us the longest descent in the Black Forest and possibly Germany, which I somewhat doubted. Still with 8 km of \u2018descent\u2019 we were expecting good things. Unfortunately the weather and the snow were not ideal and so after the 3 hour ascent we took two hours trying to ski back down through breakable crust snow. Above right: Although there was enough snow Leonie found a nice patch of road to stomp over.
