I headed to Europe in 2009 with the intention of spending a few months there traveling. The European winter arrived and I decided to stay longer taking a part time job in a ski rental shop in the small German town of Oberstdorf. The following summer I trained to work on a hochseilgarten (high ropes course) and spent the summer working a couple of jobs there. I also took school kids on walks and took them through team building exercises.
It was then off to Freiburg in 2010, where I met Leonie. We lived in Freiburg until 2013 before moving to Lindau at lake constance.
