I headed off for four days of ski touring with the Bollschweil ski club. I was collected in Lindau in the morning with sunshine and blue sky and we drove to Edelweiss Haus in the Lechtal. At midday we headed off on our first tour to Hahnleskopf. We had a 700 m ascent with soft spring snow on a harder base. The sun vanished on our way to the top and it was a little colder by the time we were at the summit. The descent was harder than expected as a small crust had formed with the dropping temperatures. It was still quite skiable though and we found our way back to the hut. Unfortunately Christian aggravated a leg injury in a crash on the descent and had to slide down the mountain, limping back to the hut for the end of his ski touring trip.
