Ari and I headed away on Friday morning up the coast where we found a campground and pitched our tent. We spent the afternoon lazing about, checking out the beach, and then went to a restaurant for dinner.
On Saturday we headed back down to the beach and rented a double kayak and paddled North along the coast. The coast line is protected, meaning there are far fewer houses than you’d normally find. We kayaked through a couple of pretty arches and admired the rocky red cliffs covered in pine trees and the occasional big old building that somehow slipped through the rules.

With views of a big coastal town further to the North, we turned around and headed back, stopping at a beach along the way for a bit of a snack and an explore. The beach ran along under cliffs and all along it were all the types of genitalia on display.
We continued back visiting an arch again before returning to the beach where we started. I went for a swim and then we headed back to camp.
We went for a walk in the evening to a restaurant that was much too fancy for the clothes we were wearing. At first they turned us away but then as we were leaving someone came out again and we were seated. We shared dishes, eating a tasty salad with strawberries, and some meaty things. The food was good but the portions a bit smaller than ideal, and we made our way back to camp in the darkness, after eating.
On Sunday morning we drove North and met Milan below a series of cliffs in a little tourist town at the coast. Luckily the tourists preferred the beach. We did a few easy climbs with views out to the sea and down to the local Lidl that we’d raided earlier for snacks. We drove back to Barcelona in the evening.
