Frauke and I made another assault on Shattenberg in the grey rainy foggy Sunday weather. Like my mission in December I managed to struggle to find the route to begin with. We walked up to the cross at one of the rocky ridge that heads towards Nebelhorn. Next time, with better weather I think I’ll have to try the ridge too.

The book full of signatures below the cross also had a redox reaction and a mathematical derivation in it. I added some digits of PI and hastily showed how to derive the Fourier Transform from the Laplace Transform. Or at least I think I did, I’m a bit rusty.

  1. Shattenberg as in schadow mountain? 😉

  2. That’s the one. The mysterious shadow mountain…
