The weather was good and after some deliberating we decided to cycle up the road we had driven up yesterday to the base of the mountain Mangart. It was a nice ride with a few tunnels along the way to keep things interesting. The view from the road is fantastic.
Leonie headed back to Trenta and I cycled the long way back via Tarvisio in Italy and then along the Alpe Adria cycle way to Kranjska Gora followed by a very nice climb up Vršič Pass. The mountains were looking perfect. It’s such a nice area.
