Good Friday

Johannes, Philipp, Simon, and I drove to Ötzt stopping along the way for a day of nice climbing. We did 11 climbs from 5a to 5c. In the evening we cooked a curry and relaxed at our air BnB.

Saturday

Leonie and Thomas drove to Ötzt in the morning and we headed off for some cycling. We rode over Haimingerberg, down, and up into Kühtai. The weather was perfect, just like it was for our ski touring a month ago. From 2000m we descended into the valley on the other side. After a lunch stop, Thomas and I took turns smashing back along the flat to Haiming. My legs felt a bit sore from earlier in the week but still seemed to be working ok.

Sunday

Leonie and Thomas drove to Oetz again in the morning and we went cycling. We rode part of the original Imst Radmarathon route. We were on small roads without much traffic which was nice. Rather than ride the whole route as we had planned we turned off and cycled further up into the hills. After finding a cafe that was open and getting a bite to eat we continued towards Kaenertal. The cycling was very nice and scenic. We looped back via Landeck. We went out to another restaurant in the evening.

Monday

I did a bit of climbing in Nazareit with the others before Simon, Philipp and Johannes drove back to Lindau. Craig, Beth and I fluffed around in the car park. There was an interesting water feature. Why do children get all the fun? There were also hammocks and a slack line. After spending some time on this we headed to Imst and found an ice cream. Leonie picked me up from there and we drove back to Lindau.
