It rained during the night and continued to rain in the morning. We hung out at the camp site waiting for the weather to improve. At 1:30 pm we gave up and left anyway.

We cycled up a small unsealed road. After climbing a few hundred metres my bike carrier broke and we did our best to fix it with electrical tape. This was enough to cautiously continue. The road went up and up and up and we ascended over 1000 m. It was 5 degrees at the top and it would have been quite pretty if the weather had been ok.

We descended to Dombås in the evening and camped there. Some friendly French people took pity on us and let us there hut to cook in. We probably had been looking a little cold. Norwegian salmon and stir fry for dinner.

We like the French.
