Leonie and I got lucky with the weather and escaped the rain that we had had at Lake Pukaki. We drove South and ended up camping at Kidds Bush at the Lake Hawea shore. It was nice and warm and we decided to go for a short stroll that turned into a longer bare footed mission up into the hills. After our mission we cruised down the gravel road a little (accompanied by soothing trance sounds) and dipped our skinnies in the refreshing lake water.
