We started on hard crunchy snow again in the morning and headed up to the true right of the valley. At our first break I clipped my ski crampons onto my skis, and flipped them back out of the way. We skinned up to Halslspitze. We’d intended to go further but the ridge we had wanted to traverse didn’t look so friendly and the other option was a big descent into the valley. Instead we descended again and Helga and I went for a second tour up Nafingkoepfl in the afternoon. Another nice descent back down and it was time for dinner.
