It was our last day and we didn’t have a lot of time. The weather was still fantastic though so we got up early despite our evening tour and subsequent late night. We headed around to the next fiord named Ersfjord and parked at the end of the road. The plan was to head up to the peak named Hatten. It was looking very much like spring time. The snow was looking very patchy at the bottom and we weaved our way up, connecting the patches of still remaining snow and navigating around trees and rock. The snow cover increased as we ascended and the last third, at least, of the ascent was with good cover. We took photos at the top and then had a really nice descent, cutting turns in the spring snow. It looked pretty amazing with the snow and the blue fjord below. We scraped our way down the last part, again weaving between rocks and trees, joining the patches. We stopped for a coffee at a small café at the edge of the fjord and enjoyed the view of the snowy peaks above the sea. Then it was back to the Air BnB, a quick tidy and we were heading to Tromsø for lunch and then on to the airport.

We had dinner at Hana’s flat in the evening before Johannes and I headed back to his place for the night.

The following evening we got out for some sport climbing and a BBQ with Hana and one day later I flew back to Barcelona.
