We spent the day in Bergen poking around the fish market, exploring the town, and sorting out a ferry. The weather was much better than expected and we enjoyed sun and patches of clouds. At 4:30 pm we narrowly escaped the oncoming rain and jumped on the ferry heading north amongst the dark clouds, rain, and occasional burst of thunder and lightning.

The ferry took us quite a way north weaving in between little islands and in and out of the fiords. We got off at 10 pm and jumped on the bikes. It was still light and we spent the next 2 hours riding up to a pass where we pitched the tent next to a lake at the end of a little road. The sun did its best to set but kind of gave up and dusk remained as we cooked dinner getting into the tent around 1:30 am with still plenty of light to see.
