It was raining in the pass so we hooned down to the Hawdon Shelter. Chris, Gina, Frauke, and I went for a mission up the Pyramid while Katie tackled Woolshed Hill and Clare lazed by the car. It was one of those funny weather patterns where it was horrible in the pass but fine a few km eastwards where we were. We had good fun bush bashing up onto the tops before wandering along the ridge and bashing back down another ridge. Chris was eager to jog a little on the way back so we all shuffled along through the beautiful NZ countryside. It’s so awesome to see it again.
