The weather was still a bit cold and grey and we left the hut in the morning heading back down into the Trenta valley. The temperature increased as we descended. We ate bad pizza at the restaurant next to the tourist centre and drank delicious Union radlers. It rained lightly from time to time but it was warm in the valley and quite pleasant.
Piling back into the car we drove out of Slovenia via Italy and back to Austria. We drove to a campsite near the Plöckenpass Straße, just to the North of the Italian border, and set up our little village of tents. The plan was to climb a multipitch route the following day.
