It was another deliciously hot day and Rebecca had a cunning plan. The plan was to head down to the Dreisam (the river that flows through Freiburg) and do some German ‘grillen’. So at Grill o’clock (around 6 pm) we pedaled down to the river with our ‘one-time grills’ and some fleisch. By the magic of telephone we ascertained the whereabouts of a few others and it wasn’t long before we had a merry gathering of hungry Germans, and assorted Internationals.
