I am blogging from our water hole in the lovely Slovenian valley today.
We changed terrain type today. Instead of the depressive lime stone depressions, we were running on a continental map. It was much easier and consequently much faster. I thrashed around the course and really enjoyed it. The forest was open and controls were generally visible a few tens of metres away. Emily was terrified that I was going to beat here as we were both racing the Open 2 course. I had the lead for the first 13 controls but then I made a mistake and she ended up taking a minute out of me.
We’re staying with Greg again tonight.
